Why is this such a great dessert? Combine genoise, a very light spongey white cake with layers of raspberry and whipped cream and topped with marzipan in traditional green. Reportedly this cake was made for a Swedish Princess and that green marzipan denotes it has raspberry layers, and pink denotes another jam other than raspberry.
